Press F1 Error on POST

Go to solution Solved by Eigenvektor,

Fast boot is faster because it skips some checks. The question would be what the actual error was. Likely it's an error detected by a test that's now skipped.

So the issue probably isn't fixed, it's simply no longer tested for and as such no longer being reported

Hi i have been having a press F1 error on POST date and time are correct but it still happened every day until i enabled fast boot (i hope as today is the first it has boot strait into Windows) i was just wandering why fast boot would fix this issue? hope some one can answer my question

thanks Rob
