The adapter included with the graphics card is intended for power supplies that do not have a 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 power cable. If your power supply comes with the cable you don't need to use the adapter cable. Either would work, however.

the ones that come with the PSU are the ones built from the manufacturer to work specifically with that PSU. The other cables could be good but they are meant "generic" so i would stick with the PSU included one

I think it's the first gen 12vhpwr cable.

12VHPWR vs 12V 2x6 is a component side difference, not a difference in the cable.
