Hey guys, back with another question for you all:

I just wiped my PC to kind of freshen things up and re-organize things, I am now looking for some new tuneup software and essential things you guys think I should put on this "New" PC per say.

Thanks, feel free to link me to different programs that you think are useful and that you use on a regular basis whether it be for maintenance, or for convenience.

*per se

If it's a new install, then nothing. 98% of "tuneup" type software is junk anyway.

I apologize, I am only 16 haha, I try to sound sophisticated when I can, I have heard people say it is better to have nothing and instead simply have an anti-virus. I typically use AVG for that, any other options that may be better?

AVG is good. I'd use Malwarebytes anti-malware too, in conjunction. It's freeware and a simple google search will show you a download link. It's a great program that alot of the users here swear by. Those 2 and CCleaner is all you need, run CCleaner once a week or so, it doesn't take long.

CCleaner. Don't use anything else. They don't do anything and are junk.

if you use CCleaner, just don't use the registry cleaner. In fact, NEVER use ANY registry cleaners? Why?

-> You are asking for big problems

-> If you don't see a problem, you will most likely face it when you install a Service Pack or Upgrade Windows, and sometimes Windows Update, which in all cases would force you to re-install Windows.

-> No point. Windows doesn't start faster on a modern computer, and the registry is a database. Meaning, it doesn't slow down as you add more things in it. The speed is always consistent. Much like this forum isn't getting slower by the number of posts added daily. That is one of the cool things about databases.

Wipe your penis all over your monitor. That ought to do the trick ;)
