Browser, version and OS: Safari (18.5), MacOS (15.5)

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

After a while the site will not allow me to respond to threads. I will click reply and it doesnt allow me to type anything in the box.

What happened?

In the reply area it just has the "add media" box, and wont let any text be placed.

This is what pops up.

Screenshots of the issue, if applicable:

Any other relevant details:

After refreshing the Window it works. Should mention this has been going on for a while. Ive been meaning to post about it. Im fairly sure I also had issues on Firefox as well.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Has been going on for couple of years. For me it's random and occasional enough to treat it as hiccup. As in short connection error.

For me it happens every day. I guess I tolerate it but it just seems like it's getting worse over time, like I said happens every day for me.

If you open the dev tools (ideally before it happens, though there might still be something useful afterwards; normally it's F12 but I have a feeling on safari you might have to go into a menu) and switch to the console tab, does it say anything there?

So far it's currently working. Maybe tomorrow morning it will break again. And I'll check.

You got rate limited there - had you opened lots of tabs, or maybe a page with lots of embeds, very shortly before you opened the reply editor?
