Some Context : Due to water spillage , I had my laptop's keyboard displayed (had this done at an official lenovo service center) . The engineer did confirm at the time of repair that he did not find any damage to the motherboard or any other module apart from the keyboard of course . But after a few weeks of use , I tried opening nvidia control panel to check my gpu specs and I received the no nvidia gpu detected error message.
I would someone please provide some help with troubleshooting / potential solutions .
Some of the troubleshooting I already did was check inside device manage where I did find the gtx1050 in the view hidden devices tab but it appeared greyed out . I installed the latest driver exe from the nvidia site and tried running it but the app mentioned "No compatible nvidia gpu detected" .

if the gpu is greyed out in device manager what does it say the cause is in the properties?

Hi..I checked closely and apparently it wasnt the gpu that appeared greyed out , it was just the original driver for the gpu that showed up greyed.
The gpu still doesnt appear at all in device manager or even in bios.
Could this be a motherboard related fault?

go into the bios and see if it's disabled

sounds like the motherboard wasnt fine after all.. time to hit up the service center for an RMA.

also - if the keyboard was an out of warranty repair, you're probably just screwed, out of warranty motherboard swaps arent exactly a good deal compared to just buying a new laptop.
