Hello all . i wonder if somebody can help me solve a rather common issue with the cooling pad i bought.
i believe it's the LLano v13 non rgb .
the problem is with the touch button . after some time it randomly causes the pad to stop and then a bit later it might restart by itself.

one solution i saw it was to pull and extend a bit the spring which acts like a capacitative touch sensor.
the issue persists. so i am wondering if i can somehow replace this with a small physical switch , or how to make the sensor more robust to have correct commands and not give random ones by itself.
the pad was working fine for 1-2 months. then the randomness started .

if needed i have pictures of the pcb .
thank you in advance

Maybe ask the seller for a refund or a replacement.

Welcome to the forums!
I agree with Kidx2, contact support.
Also, that's a VERY expensive pad, consider a 25$ one in the future. Fewer features means fewer things to go wrong.
Also also, if the laptop is older, definitely consider a teardown and rehab. Especially if you ever travel with it in a bag or put it on non-hard surfaces. I usually recommend a repaste and cleanout every 4 years, and an additional biennial cleaning if it travels in a bag or is used on a lap/floor

I thought it's like $50 or somethin... holy cow...

Meanwhile I strap an unused 140mm fan to the bottom of my laptop tray and powering it by 5v usb 😂

Agree, I'm not jerry-rigging a 1-2 months old laptop pad that expensive.

Return replace or refund. That thing better comes with lengthy warranty.

well small update answering to the propositions.
it was amazon.de purchase (~100 euros in offer + transportation(I know it's freaking expensive ) no idea from where it came didn't even try to ask for refund or warranty , silly me i know .
need to cool a lenovo legion which is going hot ( 97C-98C+ peak temperature on the CPU)  while gaming even though it has just a ryzen 5 5600h and an 3060 .
i am repasting often which also worked but i needed more cooling. ( the pad is droping it to ~85C on 50-60% rpm)

my biggest mistake was that i bought the cooling pad without scraping the bottom of the internet to find all the problems related to the product .
it seems the models with the touch panel are facing this issue quite often.

as for the junk fix which seems that is working ( for now been a week ) i re-soldered the spring, tried to put it a bit back into shape , ( screwdriver and heat) and i put a small aluminum foil piece folded in the hole that the spring is going into , between the spring and the plastic/metal ? that you touch .
Seems it is way more robust at the touch commands and i didn't have the start stop behaviour.

the picture is from before. no major changes in the looks.

Now i just wish it won't start misbehaving .  ( next will be the physical switch somehow )
