Make sure the RAM is the fastest your CPU/motherboard supports, and make sure the RAM is two sticks. Also make sure your CPU/iGPU isn't overheating. Make sure all system drivers are up to date (CPU, GPU, motherboard BIOS).

For what? Watching youtube? this thing can't game. Even minecraft is asking too much. This would be considered a slow computer for word.

Any oc won't even give you a single fps. You can't do anything here to get more gaming performance. If it's struggling in youtube playback. yeah same thing cpu is super weak with about as low end a integrated gpu you can get in the last 7 years. There is nothing to do here.

You've got a dual core Coffee Lake CPU with fairly low-end integrated graphics. Sorry to say it but your computer's not going to be a gaming powerhouse unless you upgrade your hardware. You're not going to "optimize" any significant gains, or see a reasonable frame rate unless you exclusively play games from 25 years ago.

What motherboard do you have? (Or if you have an OEM-built PC, what's the model number?)

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

How many sticks of RAM?  Keep in mind this CPU iGPU will never become a beast.

Nothing short of asking for a dedicated GPU is going to make any difference.  Everything people above are suggesting will amount to nothing at all for an iGPU of that level of CPU.

You've got a basic computer, nothing wrong with it, just it is what it is.

Can you talk to your folks about it and possible upgrades?

Lacks details. Knowing these lower end CPUs are more common in laptops and other pre-builts means you probably don't have much options to do tweaking. If you have normal mobo with full control, things you can do is to increase VRAM size. This requires that you have 8 gigs or more RAM. Preferably 16gigs so you can dedicate 3-6 gigs of that for iGPU. Overclocking is nope, or not in meaningful ways. And if we are talking about pre-built, power supply most likely wouldn't like it either.

Your motherboard is compatible with Intel 9th gen CPUs.

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H310M-PRO-VDH-PLUS/support#cpu

You're going to have to upgrade your CPU, and ideally your GPU along with it, if you want that computer to game well. Like I said, an i5 would be fine if you can get one for a good price.

What power supply do you have? (We need to know this in order to recommend appropriate GPUs. A low end power supply limits what kind of GPUs you can install without upgrading that as well.)

Just post your full specs. Easier to give advice when we know what you are working with. Better if you have budget/markets for upgrades. But as said, best you can do is make sure you have enough RAM assigned to iGPU. Nothing much you can do with locked CPU and iGPU which doesn't have anything you can tweak besides how much RAM is used as VRAM.
