You want DDR5-6000 CL30. What country are you located and what is your budget?

Try to get CL30 memory if possible at your price point.

If you go AM4, will you keep your motherboard?

  • Do you want small upgrade or big upgrade
  • Do you want cheap upgrade or don't mind expensive upgrade

Agree with @Why_Me, way too high Mhz, could instead get CL30 with tight subtimings and ~6000Mhz

Well, you can either upgrade to x3D 8 core CPU, you already have 32GB of RAM and everything.

So one choice is CPU, maybe GPU+PSU upgrade (if PSU needs, that depends on the model), or just CPU+PSU so that the new platform is already hooked up to capable future-proof PSU and won't need swapping later when you decide to get better GPU.

Or platform upgrade to AM5, which is CPU+RAM+MB.

Just now, Shadowgmaing said:

Both.

Financially it makes sense to just upgrade CPU and stay on AM4, because 5700x3D is about ~= 5 7600 level of performance.

For more juice it makes sense to swap platform, because the next upgrade will just be swapping CPU. But you have to buy new motherboard and RAM with the CPU if you want to go AM5.

  • So you pay either some amount for CPU performance
  • Or you pay more, for similar CPU performance you would have got for less + farther future upgrade being just CPU swap, and already sitting on newer platform

Exactly, but at the same time, you can always buy entire AM5 platform in that future too, and pay less now.

What you're doing to max out on CPU or 32GB of RAM? Unless you're talking in the future? Because 32GB is still plenty for just gaming + more than enough background stuff too. Same with 6/8 cores, if you're not someone who is more demanding or specifically needs power in certain areas. Like rendering, or heavy stuff like multitasking with hundreds of Chrome tabs, or demanding on best of the best for given budget like hardcore competitive gamers, etc.

For AM4 maybe you could keep the PC for a few more years then upgrade to AM5 or the future AM6 later. Keep in mind that AM4 CPUs run slower than AM5, but are also much cheaper. Maybe a Ryzen 7 5700X3D (~$300) or the Ryzen 5 5800X ($170) would be a good upgrade to keep your AM4 system running fast.

IMO 7600X is not worth it for AM5. You can just grab X3D on AM4 and you will beasically get the same game performance for cheaper.

If you are going to change platforms make sure the performance is worth it

ik thats why i ask if i worth upgrading or not bc i only did one build thats all

If your main concern is the heat and your case, I'd just get a nice new case and a new CPU cooler.

Your current parts are pretty well matched, so it'll last another 2-3 years (depending on games/resolution).

well i wana do 1440p gaming, edting and other stuff bc the pc isnt capebal to do now whit this parts bc it just goes heat mode and games i do are cpu heavy mostly

A 6700 XT can play most games just fine at 1440p.

Editing: a 5600X can do this, but it depends what kind of editing you want to do.

In multithreading (i.e. all the cores being used well), a 7600X is roughly equivalent to a 5800X and a 7700X is roughly equivalent to a 5900X.

start by getting the thermal right peerless assassin and the phanteks g400a first because they will work for Both am4 and am5, and it will also help with lowering your cpu temps to get more performance.
