With the new PCs that are capable of having Recall is the bitlocker turned on automatically or only when you turn on the recall function?

Additionally when bitlocker is on for protecting the Recall snapshots does it only encrypt the recall snapshots or does it encrypt the entire computer?

If Windows 11 is pre-installed Bitlocker might be turned on from the beginning.

Even if a pre-built or laptop is not Copilot+ capable.

Bitlocker is designed to encrypt a whole drive, not specific files and folders. (Which is what you would expect from a Microsoft bloatware...)

I really hate Bitlocker it is another one of those stupid pieces of shit software that causes more trouble than its worth. Especially for those that don't know anything about it or those of us that try to do something and it gets in the way.
