RX9060 XT OC Drivers

Bought a 'cheaper' PC DIY package that came with a Gigabyte RX9060XT OC 16GB graphics card .. (Yes I know, but its NOT a gaming machine) ..

 

Built the system, installed Windows 11, it boots etc no problems, display works but the graphics card is not accepting any drivers ..

 

The AMD auto intall tools says "Error 182 – AMD Software Installer Detected AMD Graphics Hardware in Your System Configuration That Is Not Supported"

The Gigabyte driver tools says "No Supported Devices Detected"

 

Even tried tools like 'DriverBooster' and similar, which also none of them install drivers for the card.

 

AMD and Gigabyte websites do not have Windows drivers downloads, only the auto tool (which don't work)

 

Is it just to early for drivers, or is there something else I am missing ?

Wait until Friday. It shouldn't have been sold to you yet so drives are likely not online yet.

The card officially goes on sale in the US today at 9am EDT - 35 minutes from now. Drivers for the card should be available from AMD at that time.

OMG .. Seriously ???

Guess I will just shut it down and wait until tomorrow and see what happens .. 

Probably a good thing now, because my head is about to implode trying to figure it out .. lol ..

Thanks folks for the info.

Jumped on this morning and tried again (about 2hrs after OP), New Hardware detected, Drivers Installed

 

Although I did have another issue that I've never encountered before.

On Power Up / Reboot / Sleep Mode, the GPU would not display anything unless I unplugged the monitor cable and plugged it back in again.

Luckily after about an hour of messing around again, the driver popped up a message on screen saying "CSM Mode is turned on, this GPU may not function properly" or something like that.

Went into the BIOS and turned CSM off .. Problem went away .. All is good again
