Asus/ROG Build

Hi, Everyone

 

I'm going to build a new PC for a friend, he is using it for gaming, videoediting, schoolwork and just ordinary browsing. He wanted a pretty nice PC so here are the specs:

 

CPU: Intel I7 4770K

MoBo: Asus Maximus Formula VI (c2)

GPU: Asus GTX780ti Direct CUII

CASE: Corsair Obsidian 750D

RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast (2x8GB)

HDD: Western Digital Red 3TB (2x RAID1)

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB (2x RAID0)

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

PSU: Corsair AX860i

Case Fans: Fractal Design R2 140MM (3x)

Optical Drive: Asus Blu-Ray player (dont know why but he wants to have one)

Monitor: Dell Ultrasharp U2412M (2x)

 

Mouse: Logitech Performance Mouse MX

Keyboard: Corsair Raptor K30

Case Lights: LED Strips from IKEA modded at home

 

Will start the build in 2 days hope you will enjoy !!

get the 780 matrix or whatever its called, otherwise its not an rog build.  :P

I Know but I live in The Netherlands and its not avalible here

Ohhh c'mon now, stop giving him grief.

 

His current 780Ti CU2 will do just fine. :P

 

Solid build mate. I always give a nod to red/black builds.
