hardrive problems

hi i have a 2T seagate barracuda, just for storrage. and after like 20minutes when i turn on my pc, my hardrive is not there anymore. and i have plugged it in right. this happend one time earlier this month and i couldn't find out what it was so i formated it. then it worked fine again, but now the same happened. i do not want to format it again, i have alot of stuff there.

 

please help its much appreciated

How old is it? There is a chance it could be failing...

Have you tried different ports in your mobo and multiple cables? Might be that your hard drive is failing or it has something to do with your mobo (bad connectors, drivers).
