Eh. Wouldn't trust EVGA with power supplies. They have a couple 80+ nothing PSUs, and a few no-rating PSUs, which makes me doubt their PSUs.

You can get better quality from a better brand for the same price.

Look to corsair, seasonic, etc...

BS? I've heard nothing but good reviews on the EVGA Supernova 850W G2. Also, the RM series supposedly uses lower quality components.

Seasonic PSUs are the best, though, and are cheaper anyways. You can also get 80+ Platinum ones for just a couple bucks more.

I can get the one I posted for $140. Show me one that is a "couple bucks more" and is 80+ Platinum.

These are just a couple, 80+Gold is obviously cheaper. Also you shouldn't cheap out on a PSU because as many other guys on the forum can confirm, there is a chance you ruin your entire build. Someone here also had a EVGA PSU burn out not long ago and ruin their motherboard too. I would choose a PSU based on the custom reviews...

I'm not "cheapening" out on the PSU at all. JonnyGuru.com gave it a 9.9 out of 10 rating. I've heard NOTHING BUT GOOD REVIEWS on it.

All of what you listed would be considered "bullshit" except for the Seasonic KM3 designs when saying their are "better quality PSU in the same price range". The Super Flower Leadex build EVGA G2 are high-end PSUs and is among one of the best unit currently along with the Seasonic KM3/XP2/XP3, Flextronic build AXi, and Delta build Antec HCP Platinum. The RM and CS are mainstream units.

The Antec Earthwatt Platinum is more of an budget Platinum unit that is overpriced, as it is based on the group-regulated FSP Aurum Gold platform just like the EVGA NEX750G. It actually uses lower quality caps than the EVGA as well.

The AX760 and 760XP2 are solid high-end units (same internal platform). They are more expensive than the G2 series though.
