Rx 580 heatsink memory cooling.

Bought a MSI Rx 580 8gb OC off FB marketplace and the card works great. The only problem is that the heatsink doesn't make any contact with the memory. I'm not sure if that's intended. The previous owner had an eraser like one of those pink rubber rhombus pencil erasers covered in thermal paste in it to bridge the gap. The memory was overheating at that point so I took them out. 

 

What are some ways I can bridge the gap and not make it overheat or is it supposed to be like that?

It may be missing thermal pads

That looks exactly like what I'm missing, how can I get those or something similar?

Just look up thermal pads on amazon and get the thickness they tell on the schematic
