Question for SSD

So i built this new computer using :

Motherboard :tuf-gaming X-870Plus 

CPU: AMD 9800 x3d

GPU: amd RX 9070 XT nitro+ 

 

I would like to add a new SAMSUNG SSD 9100 PRO 1TB, PCIe 5.0x4 M.2 2280, Seq. Read Speeds Up to 14,800MB/s, Best for AI Computing, Gaming, and Heavy Duty Workstations (MZ- VAP1T0B/AM)

 

and i am unsure about the heat sink req. Also new board has AI OC mode and i wonder just how much heat this would make.

Some guy said my motherboard has included heat sink, there is also a Samsung 9100 pro with a heatsink included.

What should i do, wich one should i use. The ssd heatsink, the motherboard heatsink or both even.

 

How good is AI oc mode with this new super fast ssd is it dangerous? Will it takeover the world?

you don't need (and generally don't want) gen5 NVME drives.  

 

Save a ton of money and get a decent Gen 4 and call it a day.

Also the new x3d gaming mode, i used to be intel and geeforce, i have so many things to learn.

they run hotter, gen 5 is more likely to have other various issues, and there's literally no point.

 

you're not going to be performing any operations where getting 14GB/s of transfer speeds will actually matter.  Ever.

Not sure what you mean, there is no gaming mode on a 9800X3D it "just works".

Cause its not 2x faster in almost all workloads. Things like random IO are only slightly better than gen4 ssds, and very few programs can use those fast sequential speeds. Its generally not worth the extra cost and your better off with a slower bigger SSD to store more games.

I'm definitely dubious about that as it appears to disable SMT on the 9800X3D which may downgrade performance on games that are multi-threaded well.

Also seen plenty of reviews suggesting that the 9950X3D does NOT need a CCD disabling for good gaming performance, so MSI doing this before the CPU even released is again dubious IMO.
