So I recently got a 5070 ti and my old psu didn’t have a pcie slot for it so I had to buy a new one and which I did and I plugged everything thing in where they should go and it’s not booting. When I tried to the pc on the motherboard lights turned on and my cpu cooler lit up with a red caution sign and I’m kinda at a lost for what went wrong. Ps I’m still fairly new at building pcs.

Did you change out all the cables when swapping PSU?

It is the ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H Gaming and yes I connected the two sata cables that it needs with one hanging out and yes that’s the rgb cable.

Some computers won't turn on if the CPU_FAN header isn't populated.

That could be the red caution sign on the CPU cooler for example.

And what would be the cpu_fan header I’m still a little new

Thats okay 🙂  What AIO do you use?

Red would be CPU_FAN and Yellow would be AIO_PUMP.

It looks like you did have something in CPU_FAN, double check this please.
