File explorer windows won't display

Lately, once in a while, I try to pop up some explorer window from the task bar and it won't display.

In detail :

A few such windows are open in the background

I highlight the taskbar, I slide across the tab with the mouse, then across the miniature, the file explorer window displays as usual

I click the miniature and nothing (the file explorer window remains in the background)

This fixes itself after a few tries.

Does this ring a bell ?

(I did try some sfc /scannow and DISM.exe without improvement)

I had a similar issue(win 10), and I never did discover a proper fix or cause. However, while messing with it, I disabled the animation options for windows and it worked.
