WiFi card not detected

I recently made my computer and bought a wifi card (PCIE), the system doesn’t detect the card even when I install the drivers(wifi card).n do i have to download drivers for the motherboard? And in that case how?

Yes you can install chipset drivers. But it will not solve issue if there isn't installed wifi card drivers. Maybe not properly installed in PCIE slot. Maybe defective slot or wifi card. If you put something in PCIE slot different thing, does system recognise it?
