Hey all!

I'll be moving from The Netherlands to Malta soon, about a three hour flight.
My main worry is my PC which is where I could use some advice from people who have flown with their PC before.

The case I have is a Lian Li 011 Dynamic EVO, which makes it impossible for me to put it in one my regular big suitcases.
The other components that may be relevant to list due to size / weight are a Corsair H150i Elite LCD XT and a Asus ROG STRIX 2080 Ti.
One piece of check in luggage has a maximum weight of 32KG, I believe I am safe there but I still have to check my PC's weight.

One plan is to take out all my storage and bring that in my carry-on, purchase those inflatable foam bags they use to ship pre-builds to protect the GPU and to put my PC in the box the case shipped in with some extra padding and check that box in as luggage.
Also how does this work with the label when there is no handle to attach it to, I figure they have a solution for that but it worries me.

Alternatively I thought about taking out my GPU, putting it in its anti-static bag, and putting it in between clothing in one of my regular suitcases.
I doubt the RAM or CPU block is heavy enough to damage their sockets if the airport staff is rough so then I would not need the inflatable foam bags as well.

Any tips or experiences are very much appreciated! Thanks!

Pull the GPU, CPU cooler, and any SATA drives.
Absolutely carry any spinning drives. You can safely check the AIO and solid state SATA drives. You could check the GPU as well if you still have the box and packaging it came in.
At that point you don't need to worry about the foam pack, the major concern is the glass. The probable best inexpensive way to protect it would be sliding some thin plywood between the foam and the box so if it gets kicked/dropped on a sharp corner the wood would take the impact. Worst case you might have to replace the whole case, but LL customer service might be able to replace it
