Hey guys, I’m having a really strange issue. I wanted to install promox on my laptop which I did but it didn’t work out unfortunately. I’m going to create a dual boot pc but even though I formatted it correctly my pc cannot  find the hdd through the windows installer . I checked and the nvme driver is already installed. The only clue I can see is through ubuntu live cd (terminal) that shows there is a B0005 Proxmox bootloader still there. Which hopefully once removed me make it hdd show up, even using gparted

Any help would be I would be extremely greatful

You should be able to use a tool like fdisk and run sudo fdisk /dev/nvme0 then delete the EFI partition (DO NOT DO THIS IF THIS IS YOUR BOOT DRIVE RIGHT NOW)

Boot from something else and back up any data you don't want to lose.

This doesn't explain why Windows doesn't see the drive as something to partition but it will solve your first problem.

What I used to do to dual boot in the past was install Windows first. THEN with whatever free space I designate install Ubuntu in that free space. They have it as a part of the Ubuntu installer setup if you'd like to install Ubuntu next to Windows. Should cause less trouble than the other way around.
