If you don't want to risk the card, then replace the screw.

There are many methods you can employ to get the screw out. My favourite method: Supergluing (JB weld with vehicles/high torque items) a bit you're okay with sacrificing, waiting for it to cure, then removing it like normal. Replace with a fresh one.

Jude 1:23

And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

Yup this is like a 99% succes rate method. Small tip for op to not get jb weld everywhere. Masking tape around the screw. Helps heaps!

Next time you grab a screwdriver I advise learning how to use it first. It could be you have the improper size too. They are prob a number one. You want to check first by placing it in the screw first and turn it back and forth slightly. Just to see if it has any play to it. Ideally, it will be tight. If not, you want the one that fits the tightest. You also need to apply some pressure towards the screw to keep it properly seated in the head of the screw. Depending on what the screw is going into and what it mounted to will sometimes dictate how much pressure you can apply. If ness and poss, use your other hand to sure up whatever your screwing into or out. It may sound like duh, it's just a screwdriver but I assure you there is a proper way as well as an improper way to use one. And with any tool there are a variety of dif techniques in which to use them. Once you master that or even follow the information I've provided, you won't end up making screws look like that again or make these any worse than they are right now.
