Can a coded wesbite be sold

I coded a gaming website using html  and css during a course around 2 years ago,it was made where it can be used to sell gaming parts,it has a webpage was each part and everything else.

I was just wondering whether i can do anything with it?Like selling it?Just curious cause it is just laying around doing nothing

Unless you got images to show off what its looks like and what it can do I dont think anyone would buy so send some images , also What do you mean by Gaming Website ?

Nobody is going to pay for an HTML and CSS site that you programmed during a course.

I would say no. But if you are going to go for web development as career, you can use it part of your portfolio for sure.

 

Consider the competition also. If someone is going to pay you for something, they expect it to be profitable for them in some way. For E-commerce usecases there are already tons of options to go with. Also for any serious buyer, CMS based system is much more modern than basic website laying just on top of HTML and CSS.
