So recently i bought a 180hz monitor and i wanted to use my old 60 hz monitor as a second monitor and i got this problem only whene i connect them both to the gpu the probem is that everything lags as shown in the video, idk how to discribe the problem but the fps drops for a second and thene it goes back to normal every other second.

I'v tried everything i could find to fix this but nothing helped.

If both monitors are running and there are changes on the 2nd slower monitor, windows will drop the refresh rate to the lower common denominator. I had this with a 240hz main and 60hz second.

For example, if I had discord open on the 2nd monitor, someone joined and the joining animation played, my main would also drop to 60hz because of the animation on Discord. If I had a video on playing on my 2nd screen, main would stay 60hz, unless I went fullscreen. This annoyance I had to drop the 2nd monitor.

The only fix here really is having both monitors of the same refresh rate. Maybe some software trickery exists but I couldn't find any.

I have a 360Hz monitor, and a second 144Hz, and I've never had this issue

You may need to manually set your monitors if your drivers allow it.

I have never had this issue. It must be a special case or something.
