they wont work together in games, it will try to use the 3 780's but wont use the quadro, but you can put the quadro to work cad while gaming or something like that, same as you can plug in and run amd and nvidia cards in the same pc at the same time, just wont work together

Thanks, will it burn out the motherboard though?

If they advertise quad GPU support, it shouldn't. Be sure to plug in the molex header on the motherboard if it has one.

i actually wouldnt bother too much with a quadro for CAD'ing unless you do it professionally and really hardcore.
