Hello there, i'm a bit new to this forum, it's been helping me alot, and this is my first post

I am planing to build a Silent Optimized computer, with an NZXT H440.

I chose a GTX 770, i was planning to buy from Gigabyte with a non reference cooler.

Then it hit me.. i've been reading some reviews that the H440 does not have a good air flow.

with raises me the question

Should i buy a reference design or stick with Gigabyte's?

Which one will be the quietest in a NZXT H440?

note: i live in a tropical area

Still get the gigabyte if want quietness. The airflow can't be that bad, doesn't it have like 8 fans? just make sure to have fans in the roof of the case.

Should the fans be taking air in or out of the case?

should have an equal or lose to equal number doing the pulling and pushing out

Non Reference cooler for a near silent pc.
Reference coolers are louder as they have to work hard at pushing the air over the GPU and out the back off the computer though a small vent.

Should the fans be taking air in or out of the case?

I personally like to have more air being feed into the case than being pushed out the case. (so 3 fan in to 2 fans out for example).

This helps feed nice cool air into the pc and if you using dust filters then it will also stop dust building up in the computer too.

But saying all that; As long as the is air passing through the computer then you should be ok :)
