As the title says im dealing with a rx 6950xt reference model that is shutting my pc off the psu is not the problem the case is getting plenty of airflow I tried repasting it but did really test anything to see if it was doing better and i can tell you it still was shutting the pc off. I'm now thinking about changing the thermal pads. Does anyone have any recommendation of what it could be and if i should replace the pads and if i should what thickness to use?

And why are you confident with that?

Have to concur with SorryBella. Can you describe what testing you did to determine it wasn't the power supply? Typically if the whole thing shuts down, the power supply is the culprit due to over current protections.

I was using a reference 6950 XT with a Lian Li 850W Gold, and it was shutting down during Black Myth Wukong. Swapped out the supply for a Corsair 1000W Platinum and haven't had my system unexpectedly shut off since I installed it.
