Hi all

All of a sudden when playing games my pc now resets itself without a bsod, just switches off and immediately reboots. Have had the system for around 6 months and no problems till now. Ideas?

I4770

MSI GTX780TI

Corsair GS700 psu

MSI G43 gaming Mobo

I've heard could be power supply amongst other things.. Really hope it's not the Gpu.

Help needed please.

What game is it?

Do you have the blue screen codes?

Typically if a thermal shutdown, it will stay off for at least a few minutes. Load up HWMonitor and keep an eye on the temps. If they look ok, then most likely a bad PSU or the power controller on your mobo is flaky. You will need another PSU of course to test.

Is it overclocked? It could be your temperatures so start monitoring them, could be some windows conflict but that is less likely because it only BSOD's under pressure as you described it, power supply may be also at fault and ram sticks.
