I have been considering buying a laptop for use in class and homework coding in Java with Intelij. Curious which would be the best.

Requirements:

USB C charging

Can't be gaming laptop big

Long battery 4+ hours

Something that would last 4-5 years. Won't break, and/or is repairable.

Can run either Linux or MacOS

Optional:

Can run modern Esports games at over 60fps.

Able to use for my photography/videography hobby.

Here's the machines I found so far:

System 76: https://system76.com/laptops/pang15/configure

Framework: https://frame.work/products/laptop-diy-13-gen-amd/configuration/new

Asus Vivobook (seems like best deal but not sure if I can trust Asus) https://www.microcenter.com/product/681646/asus-vivobook-s-16-m5606wa-mh99-16-laptop-computer-neutral-black

Macbook Pro M4 Base model found for as low as $1.4k https://www.bestbuy.com/site/apple-macbook-pro-14-inch-apple-m4-chip-built-for-apple-intelligence-16gb-memory-512gb-ssd-space-black/6602741.p?skuId=6602741

Honestly I would just get a mac, if you're sure it works with the games you wanna play.

Overwatch 2, WarThunder, Sea Power, and Amber Island, with a bit of Palworld Snowrunner and Minecraft thrown in. Some say thare compatible some don't. Am considering repairability because MSI almost did and Asus did screw me right at the end of their warranty expiring with devices being defective.
