It does cause wear on the SSD. They have limited write endurance. But if it is a modernish ssd, it really isn't something to worry about. I just don't like the definitive "never".

so i have i question if i install fortinite on my laptop (i have free space) and unistall it after 10 days is it bad for my system and will i get back all my gigs because in my other laptop i installed archicad 27 than i delete it than i installed 26 and i notice that i didnt get back all the gigs

No, installing a game isn't going to be bad for your hardware (unless it contains malicious code which Fortnite certainly does not)

You should get back most if not all of the space. Sometimes installed apps can leave a little bit of data in the AppData folder after being uninstalled, but it's usually negligible.

Yep, you won't get back 100% of your storage but you will get back like 98-99% of it. There is some software out there that will delete things left in the registry and stuff, but if you don't know what it's deleting there's a chance (very very small) it could damage your computer

And if you need to do that, you're almost always better off just doing a full Windows reinstall anyway to truly get rid of the accumulated crud.

Now I'm waiting for somebody who's been programming since the 1970s to come in and tell me about some bizarre edge case where deleting files actually does damage hardware.
