Pretty decent.

My 560(and a 650Ti is pretty close to that) gets solid fps on ultra, but I have it at 1680x1050.I guess high(maybe medium?) at over 30 fps.

Higher FPS for Multiplayer is preference of course remember, smoother frames = better games.

Single player you can crank the settings further until you are around 30-35fps and enjoy the pretty's.

One of the in-game graphics options is "Mesh Quality" = Draw distance in Battlefield, a High-Ultra setting doesnt disadvantage you so much compared to Low-medium.

Hope you tweak it and get acceptable performance and hopefully more, and enjoy it as many people are still playing BF3 due to ...BF4.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

And also because it's free!

I have not tried, but I know my GTX 660 is quite a lot better, but your FX 6300 is better than my intel i5 750.

I get at least 60 FPS on ultra in BF3, so I'd guess you would get around 60 FPS at high.

This might throw some gasoline on your intellectual fire. I just ran tests on my A10-6800k and HD 5870.

Game: Battlefield 3

CPU: A10-6800k

GPU: HD 5870

Resolution: 1920x1080

Settings: Auto (High w/ MSAA Off)

FPS: 34 (Min), 90 (Max), 53 (Average)

Average CPU Load: 80-85%

Average GPU Load: 99-100%

Mode: 64 Player Multiplayer (6x/64 Connected)

The GTX 650 Ti is near the performance of my HD 5870. So I would expect similar performance out of that build. In short, yes its enough to play BF3. Not enough to run it maxed out tho.

I run BF3 on my E3-1230V2 and i7-3770 both with my GT 640 GDDR5 OEM and can get an easy 60 fps on 1920x1200. That is, with a mix of low/medium/high settings, antialiasing is completely off because I don't need it, terrain detail is as low as possible but I think textures and mesh are both on medium

I think your 650 Ti should be easily handling BF3 on High 1680x1050 at a comfortable 60+ fps all the time. I have premium and I play vanilla, AK, EG and CQ a lot but singleplayer actually lags my system the hardest. On really intense 64 player CQ maps like Donya the framerate drops a bit to maybe 45 but it's completely unnoticeable, and I'm sure the messy environments of Aftermath should be the same way.

So in other words, with a small OC your 650 Ti shouldn't be breaking a sweat on High 1080p but you might want to let Geforce Experience handle it first. I tried doing the settings the first time around and that was far worse than using Geforce Experience; my GT 640 can actually handle medium/high across the board with the exception of AA and HBAO which completely butchers my framerate. Geforce Experience was smart enough to disable all forms of AA.

Textures for pretties.

Mesh for draw distance.

The above at high.

The rest at low.

Still looks quite great and performs well on generations past.
