Context: Just built a new PC everything works fine to my knowledge. The issue comes to my network connection. On my old pc there was no issues with connectivity when it comes to packet loss or in game ping. I still have no issues with ping but with packet loss in Delta Force i get over 50/0 packet loss. In Cod Black Ops 6 I have 0-2% packet loss but i lose connection (most of the time) to the host either as the game starts or when the game ends. Brother plays on Xbox and has no issue when it comes to internet issues as well. Unsure if the issue is hardware, software, or internet related issues. Possibly could be the issue would be my ram, i figured out the other day that my ram is not compatible with my motherboard.

What? If that were the case, your computer would be unstable or not be working at all.

Though if you run into issues of stability (crashing, etc), turning RAM speed down can solve them.

Anyways, are you using a wired or wireless connection?

Do you have a wireless modem, or is it wired?

with my ram im running it at 6000mhz and its been off and on. when i built my computer a week ago it had issues now its working better

I did a ping to 1.1.1.1 as well through my wireless modem, getting an average ping of 32ms.

Does the ping improve if you are the only one using the connection?

yes it does but doesnt help with packet loss or with getting kicked in Cod

Just because it's not on the support list doesn't mean it's incompatible, it just means that they didn't validate that specific RAM kit.

Welcome to the forums!
Can you check the router to see if it has any QoL/priority settings? It's possible that you're getting deprioritized
Also try replacing the network cable
Also also, fresh built PC? Did you go to the downloads tab and install all the drivers?

If you're on the MB's website, why don't you go to Downloads section, and download Chipset drivers and other drivers to see if it's just a possible driver problem.

i have downloaded the news drivers and uninstalled the network drivers as well. Can you explain my router settings? Is there a possible website or way to know how to change the setting

Not really, every router is slightly different. You're looking for QOL or QOS settings (Quality of Life/Service)
