This has been happenign for a bit now. didnt happen as much before, was pretty inconsistent. woudl happen mayube oince a month. quiet-medium noise level grinding/buyzzing when starting pc. now it happens weekly and once i shut it off or restart it, it goes completely away. i have dusted it out and it seems to help, would this be a power supply issue or probably  afan issue. computer has no porblem running so i dont thnk it is a power supply thing but I dont know pcs well.

If you are able to record the noise that would be hugely beneficial for us to help you.

A grinding noise can definitely be a faulty fan bearing.

There is a difference between a grinding noise and a 'buzzing noise.

I would say that a buzzing noise is more electrical and can be a PSU issue or coilwhine.

We basically need to hear the sound to be able to help.

I wonder, if letting the PC run makes the sound go away, or if you like turn on a benchmark/game the noise suddenly disappears
