I am looking to upgrade my parents computer for them.

The current computer is an old transplanted prebuilt that I put into a Fractal Design Core 1000.

It is running Windows XP home edition on a WD 80 Gig HDD with an AMD Sempron 3000+ with 1 gig of ram.

Time for an upgrade.

The only thing that this computer does is email checking and some web browsing so I don't want gaming hardware.

I already have some components that I will reuse.

These include:

PSU

Case

Optical drive

HDD or SSD

My budget for this is $300 CAD max though I would prefer to keep it under.

I need a CPU, Mobo, Ram, OS

I have put together some parts and I would like some suggestions if you have any.

My apologies, I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.

I only need the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. I have a spare SSD and HDD to use. I have already upgraded the power supply to a Corsair CX430M.
