Is DOCP enabled in the BIOS?

Should it be on or off

Should be on, sets RAM speed to best supported

is that a setting on the steel legend

Yes, should be on the main page of your BIOS when you first enter it. Normally a drop-down menu. Click the profile with your RAM speed

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");

Just installed new ram and my games keep crashing on launch

was your old RAM XMP on? it's possible BIOS uses old RAM settings for new RAM causing crashes

I can see xmp only and it was on the whole time

was it 3600Mhz?

Try disabling XMP. (might be optimized for intel or not supported fully by motherboard). In BIOS: Set dram frequency to 3600mhz, set dram voltage to 1.35v, set primary timings to whatevter they are. eg. 16-19-19-19-39. save and exit

There are 5 timings settings but I can only find 4

Did you find your own timings? Also make sure voltage is correct 1.35 /1.4

That should be able to run at 1.35v if 2x16gb kit. If not ram might be bad. Edit: Just in case you haven't tried. Clear CMOS.

just let it run at xmp speed, no point in messing around, 100fps is probably normal for that game and hardware...

you can buy new RAM but it won't change anything,  maybe 5fps more tops lol.

yeah should... factually i have never been able to run ram at 1.35v tho... always 1.36v and all is good... might be a msi board "quirk" i dunno.

even with XMP its set to run at 1.35v... however it's always running at 1.36v... so if you do it manually you'll have to do 1.36 minimum. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah that's just a am4 thing. If you set 1.35 I'll report 1.36v at least on my board. 🙂
