Im talking about the zalman z11 plus here trying to make an all in one cpu water cooler fit - the fans and radiator wouldn't fit in the case because of my motherboard heatsink, the fans are 12mm (1.2cm) thick and the radiator is apparently 27mm (2.7cm) thick which i find hard to believe, is this true?

I think i have found a way, could i put the fans on the outside of the case under the grill bit there is almost a 2cm gap as seen in the picture, this leaves room for the radiator inside wich  is apparently 2.7cm thick.. do you think this would work? can somebody please tell mw how thick the radiator is because 2.7cm seems unreal.

Just get the H80i its a 120mm rad and you can mount it were your case Exhaust is instead of trying to mod and fit the h100i in Your Z11 Plus

Yeah that would be easier but im planning on getting a bigger case in the future and would like a dual rad, i dont think i would have to mod the case because the fans would fit under the vents outside the case.

Then wait till you get your new case otherwise you will just end up with a huge headache (I had one with the NH-D14/Sabertooth Z87 TUF/and Rosewill BlackHawk This was a nightmear)

I really really dont recommend trying to fit something it wont fit comfortably or with room to spare, cause if you make it fit yet it becomes damaged in a way that could affect the cooling performance or even worse cause it to leak.

Factory refurbished is good if you get a really good deal on it unless there isn't much of a price difference, sometimes the main thing you will end up missing out on is the warrenty that a Brand New cooler will come with vs a refurbished one will.
