Thanks a lot for your replies. If anyone faces this in the future just update the bios using q-flash.

after the update. A couple of reboots,  it’s working properly.

Hello,

So, bought some new components and decided to build my new pc.

I7 14700kf

gigabyte z790 gaming x ax

rm850x 850w

Kingston fury 6000 MTs

rtx 4070 ti - old component

So far so good, when I reached the point to power it up, all works fine but no display signal and the led on the motherboard stays litt “GPU”. I panicked thought it was the GPU, moved it back on my old PC works absolutely fine.

Started researching on the Web and tried these:

1. Gpu doesn’t fit well in the pci slot because of the heat sink of the m2s. Removed it, no change

2. Used HDMI cable (instead of the DP) no change.

3. Moved swapped ram, tried with 1 dim, no change.

4. Checked all the wiring again no change.

can it be a motherboard issue ?

thanks for your answers.

Since you have an F chip maybe it has something to do with MB not detecting iGFX on CPU?

I'd suggest give the motherboard and bios time to sort itself out. Like if you haven't already just leave it powered on for a few minutes to see if it will cycle to GPU. Obviously also make sure you're plugging your display cables into the card and not the motherboard.

If you do get it working I'd make sure to set bios to not try and boot to igfx.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

Don't forget to tag or quote in your reply if you want me to know you've answered or have another question.
