have to move PC over a short distance

I have a 212 evo coming in, and I might have to move my PC across a few blocks (I don't have what I need to clean off the thermal paste, while my buddy who owns a game store does) some of the road are rough, so is there anything I should know to do?

Just take the graphics card out and just lay it down.

As long as it is secured and you don't go all Ken Block on the car, you should be okay.

remove anything that might snap and off you go .

I have travelled for hours with my GPU in slot, didn't beak. But still if you can I would take it out.

I've had a system that I bring around a lot and by buckling it into the passengers seat without removing the GPU I've been able to keep any thing from breaking. I guess if your afraid that the HDD would get broke then maybe do the same with the GPU

Posted two GPU's from Ireland to Canada using royal mail (im pretty sure they just fire the stuff across the world using huge trebuchets) and they were fine. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine driving across the road.

 

Why not just borrow his stuff?! Surely he doesn't use that stuff so frequently that it'll be missed for an hour? If he is that douchey about it, get a new friend, and also some rubbing alcohol.

well he repairs consoles and such, so he will miss them

they sell 65-79% which is normal use, i cleaned mine with 75% and it was fine, u just need to rub it once or twice more than if u used 90-99% alcohol.

That is way too much trouble for me personally... If I can't find the isopropyl alcohol within two minutes I just use my shirt.
