I recently bought and installed a GTX 760, the os I was using is windows xp. My pc has two hard drives, one with windows 7 the other with xp, when I boot into the windows 7 drive the computer uses the integrated graphics instead of GPU, even though the monitor is plugged into the card. The card works completely fine with windows xp

I think Windows XP and 7 have slightly different drivers though I can't remember, anyway have you looked into the BIOS whether there is a setting in there to change between integrated and dedicated?

Also what are your PC specs?

Just had a look and I was wrong, Windows XP and 7 have the same (current) 337.88 drivers so I'm not 100% sure though I would do what the guy above me said and see if that has any effect.

I used the drivers disc and nothing happened, there's no option in the bios to change graphics. I'm in the middle of upgrading pc so here's specs: gtx 760, psu is gigabyte greenmax 550w and 4 gigs of ram with an intel core 2 duo. Ps the os' are both 32 bit

Should I just reinstall the graphics card?

if u installed the driver on windows 7 hard drive do the following, go to control panel and open nvidia control panel  from there go to set physx configuration, check if u can see the gtx 760 in the list or not.

if u cant see it download hwinfo32 and check if its being detected. http://www.hwinfo.com/

There's no nvidia control panel :P

Type NVIDIA in the start menu, if it is installed then it'll show up otherwise you may need to reinstall the drivers
