Folding Phone choice

Ok I’m in the market to upgrade my phone, coming from IPhone. I want a folding phone and based on provider choice I’m looking at the Pro Fold 2 from Google or the Galaxy Fold 6 from Samsung. I’d say I’m a moderate user who cares very little about cameras and uses video a lot. So with that said what would be the smarter route to go?

How long are you wishing yo use these for? Currently they are basically 1 year devices before the screens start showing large wear and tear. Up to a point of lowered or seized function for most.

I change phones every 2 years or less.

Then honestly the cheaper of the 2 since your main focus is video consumption

I’m in the rare position of having used both, and for me it’s easily the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

 

It’s not that Samsung’s phone is bad, far from it; it’s just that I love the Pixel software experience, and the combination of a wider cover display with a larger overall folding screen helps seal the deal.
