I'd personally Avoid Intel due to the failures they have been having, but thats me. Get the one with the iGPU if you get it, thats probalby the biggest selling point of those chips.

 

What programs, codecs, and bitrates are you working with?

 

Go windows 11 on a new build unless you have a specific reason to go 10.

Consider using the i9-14900K rather than the KF version. Having the iGPU can occasionally be useful.

 

An i9-14900K(F) really needs a 360+ AIO for decent quiet cooling at load.

 

Consider a Z790 motherboard.

 

I suggest an ATX. 3.x compliant PSU with native support for the 12VHPWR connector used by the GPU.

 

Intel Thread Director is integrated with the Windows 11 scheduler. As a result Windows 11 does a much better job scheduling efficiency and performance cores.
