Is this just memory training?

Go to solution Solved by Mark Kaine,

it could be memory training,  but that shouldn't blue screen, but since its probably just random consumer hardware it's probably just buggy, restart and blue screen are almost the same thing after all!  (yikes)

(PC: R5 8600G, 2x8GB DDR5-5600, Windows 11 Home, latest drivers and BIOS)

So I installed a new set of 2 8GB Kingston RAM sticks at DDR5-5600, and turned on EXPO 1.

The computer successfully booted but as soon as I logged in I bluescreened. Tried again, same result.

Rebooted into Memtest86 and ran 4 passes of all tests, no errors.

Tried Windows again (but on EXPO 2) and it worked!

Decided to see if EXPO 1 was just not working so rebooted, re-enabled 1 and booted into Windows, but I got the same result as EXPO 2!

Ran an hour of OCCT and no errors.

Why is this? What causes my PC to not BSOD after running a memtest?
