Sewing needle, some magnification and a steady hand. If the boards dead now, you can't make it worse.

Watch a few AM4 socket repair videos before attempting anything so you know what to expect.

And will it be possible to straighten the contacts on the am4 socket?

The processor is in good working order, the problem is in socket am4. What kind of lens is needed on the magnifier? What kind of magnifying glass is needed?I have a magnifying glass, but small objects are also poorly visible.

There are special contacts on the socket of the motherboard, the processor legs are connected to the contacts of the socket of the motherboard, if some contact is damaged then problems may appear.

It just occurred to me that that's a PGA AM4 socket with the top plate removed. Not your typical situation for an LGA socket.

Good luck, assuming there is an actual socket issue at all.

The computer starts, it just doesn't want to work two slots out of four slots of RAM.

Right, the problem here is you have removed the top portion of the socket, which isn't recommended to be removed, and with the pictures provided there are a ton of bent pins. You'll need to manually go in with a microscope or magnifier and a fine tipped tool and bend all of those bent pins back to normal. Once that is done, replace the socket cover. Then test again. And that's not a guaranteed fix. You could still have the same faults. It's a very time consuming process, let alone you'd have to pay for a replacement top half of the socket if you broke it off.

Depending on the motherboard you have it may be cheaper to just replace it with a new or used model, than sinking the time and effort, possibly money into fixing this one. AM4 boards can be bought used on eBay for fairly cheap these days, even new ones aren't terribly priced.

Or, if the only issue is two of your four ram slots don't work but everything else does you could also just say screw it, and only use two slots. You really only need two anyway.
