I did the I9 microcode update yesterday and before it my CPU temps were mid 30s low 40s at idle. After the update the CPU is reaching high 60's and couple cores are idling at 60. Has anyone else had this same problem? I have undervolted this CPU by 0.070 and did have this same undervolting before the update too.

Do you remember what frequency your cpu used to run at? Mabe it's just boosting more now?

one of the older microcodes before the fix had a bug that made it mis report the temperature to the user in a way that made it look lower then it really was.

I did the microcode update and I noticed an immediate increase in average and maximum voltages. There is a video on YouTube too with some channel testing the update, he also noticed the same thing.

average may or may not be up, however the peak is down.
