I can get the 5800x for $164 new. Should I do that or still do the 5700x? I have no idea what one is better

The 5700X runs cooler vs the 5800X which makes it easier to keep the cpu temps down.

Budget (including currency): $1000 USD

Country: USA, Florida

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Steaming, Podcasting,  light editing, Gaming. (mostly city builders)

Other details I only need the tower. I'm ok with used, but the used market by me is stupid bad. I prefer AMD.  I don't really care about looks and will not waste money for it. I'm okay with AM4. I know there isn't much upgrade path, but I feel like the bang for buck is a lot better right now. I want to build for what's available now not what my be in the future. I may be wrong, but that's why I'm here. I know just enough to know I need to ask someone who knows more than me.  I'm pretty good at finding deals online though. My current pc I built for $714. ( b550, ryzen 5600x, 32g ddr4 3600, RX6800, 1TBnvme, 750w) If I missed anything please ask.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I can do this for $1056

Give em the 6700 XT, it runs worse. Dig around the used market as well. Can find some killer deals there atm
