Ad700x vs 558

Hi. I already have a set of ad700x's but I have an opportunity to trade with a friend who has 2 pairs of 558's. What are the differences in sound between the two?

I'd say that the 558 is more slow and and relaxed compared to the almost clinical AD700's. Think of it like the difference between potato chips and and pancakes. but the pancakes are plain. No syrup.
