One week a go i have problem whit my psu. My games where crashing, pc shut down only dam led stay on. So i decide to test it and went to local pc store to buy one. They have one from Sama, armor 1000w gold model. From then pc works  fine and no crashig etc. My worry is that sama is unknown psu brand that i never herd before. Should i return it and get better brand one? My specs are ryzen 9 7950x, rx 7900 xtx nitro, 32gb ram, asus crosshair x670e hero board. Thanks.

Might be completely ok, there's power headroom, the components will draw approx 800W max,

Doesn't have 3.0 ATX, though 2.4 doesn't sound all that terrible, and in specs it lists few safeties and the 12V rail seems pretty strong too,

Is your PSU Sama FTX-1000-A Armor? Because the specs come from that model.

What exact Sama PSU do you have?  They have some alright PSU's and some that are not very good.

Sama seems to be Inter-Tech brand?

Units sold under Inter-Tech name are mostly bad units.

Edit: £120 1000W PSU seems cheap ( https://www.networkdistri.co.uk/product/power-supply-inter-tech-elektronik-handels-88882196 )

But is it the Sama FTX-1000-A Armor? Because can't find any reliable review/source about the model.

Pax vobiscum

Can't find much information about this or Sama in general.  The SAMA FTX-1000-A does come with 5 year warranty so its at least something! Most shit tier PSU's only come with 1-3 years.

I dont like ''off-brand' or cheapo PSU's at all, I like safety and reliability over everything else.

Personally I would get a PSU from a reputable brand and a model that is at least on the B:Tier in the PSU tier list.

That being said, the ''SAMA | Black Diamond – XF'' PSU is on the B.Tier list.

For me this PSU checks several safety boxes, except 3.0 ATX,

this PSU has:

  • protections
  • Gold efficiency
  • high power 12V rail and good looking power table
  • The ATX is at least above like 2.0 version
  • Japanese capacitors 105°C rating
