I've been using extension called Speed Dial [FVD] . It's extension for speed dials and bookmarks for Chrome.  It worked fine until 24th of August. This extension "decided" to load a VERY old backup from its server. And all the new bookmarks I've made were just gone. As its turned out, there is no auto backup bookmarks feature anymore. Previously bookmarks (and dials) were synchronised automatically. As I learned in a very harsh way - this feature is gone.

So now I have only very old bookmarks 🥲

I tried to recover fresh bookmarks by looking at Bookmarks.bak file in C:\Users\MYUSER\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default but that file was new and had only "fresh" bookmarks.
I googled how to recover the bookmarks but found nothing useful. Also I tried to recover the older version of the file by using programs like Recuva and others but it didn't helped. Support of that extension is awful and they just deleted my negative review of that extension.

As I understand support for Google Chrome itself is non-existent. Only an absolutely useless FAQ  section.

Please help me to find a way to restore my old bookmarks. A lot of work and time will be lost forever if I don't find a way to restore those damn bookmarks.

Bookmarks are stored locally, can you restore a previous version of Windows via the recovery menu and load your account while not connected to the Internet?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I really thought I have no restoration points. As it seems I have xD

So what exactly do I need to do ?

And what do you mean by " load your account while not connected to the Internet" ?

You can't go back in time and make a restore point so you won't be able to restore a previous version.

Sign into windows with Ethernet unplugged, etc.
