I got a G pro super light (first version) a little over 2.5 years ago (warranty is 2 years), and the rear side button started to be jittery a few weeks ago. It mostly happens if pressure is changed while pressing the button. If you hold still, it will stay activated for the most part

Here's the mouse input to show the activity. I am slightly changing pressure while pressing (enough so that it is still actuated, though) to exaggerate the effect.

Is this physical? Is there some way I could just spray compressed air in there and it'll fix, or am I done for?

Not sure if the side button is optical or mechanical, if it's mechanical...

Most often it's due to worn out switch.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post
