Thats basically it yes. You would be very very unlucky to find XMP ram that doesn't work with AMD.

Almost guaranteed it will work unless you are running some insane high speeds that AMD don't like.

I wouldn't worry about it 🙂

i thought they all just the same 😭

i already order intel ram, will it work? or will it not work?

please help me, its gonna be my first build 😭

Intel XMP rated RAM will work on AMD systems 🙂 ( for the most part )

Good news, there isn't!

All the really matters are the speed and latency, and speed is more important.

XMP is okay, XMP is on DDR4 too, or even older generations of RAM like DDR3

works with both Intel and AMD CPUs,

"Intel" XMP, is just called Intel, because it's technology made by Intel, but it works on AMD too

There should be no issues setting most RAM sticks to their advertised overclock speeds.

For context, Ryzen 1000 and 200 series were picky about their RAM choices, creating an emphasis on "AMD approved / Ryzen Ready" RAM sticks. Those days are long gone, and now any DDR5 ram can be used on intel or AMD's equivalent CPU's and boards.

XMP works on AMD and EXPO works on Intel. The only thing is that XMP is "optimized" for Intel and EXPO is "optimized" for AMD, but in practice this just doesn't matter.

AFAIK there were a few times when this was the case back in the DDR2 and earlier days, but it hasn't been a thing for the past decade.

What is the exact RAM kit and what motherboard/CPU are you using?

That RAM is perfectly fine for AM5 / AMD systems.

I have personally used that exact RAM in multiple AM5 builds without any problems 🙂
