running slow

I recently switch my components to the corsair 6500x case, and I added 7 corsair rx120 fans. The issue accrued when I added the fans. when I go to launch a game, it loaded and play very slow. I launched 7 days to die and the CPU reached a temp of 81 degrees Celsius. my specs are 7800x3d, 7900xtx and the cooler is a nzxt 240 kraken. I took the AIO off and cleans the thermal paste off and apply more.

81c isn't very hot , is the temp the only thing you checked ?

How did you install the fans? Every fan exhausting for maximum rgb? Because 80C is a bit much for a cpu that is 40-65W in most games.

that's not too concerning, especially if your cooler is nothing expensive,

did you mount the cooler in cross pattern, when tightening it down once all the screws were on?

 

what could easily be happening, is just the CPU pushing harder since the Cooler can take more thermal stuff, if you were to compare it to some weaker single tower air cooler for example..

 

how are the XTX temps, how are the fans set up? (cant post pictures though I think right now)

I did screw the cooler down in a cross pattern and then go back and tighten them. I have 6 intakes and 3 exhaust. the GPU is staying around 37 digress Celsius. I also have a contact frame on the CPU if that matter.

Something I just notice is when I have 4 or more tabs open, my CPU usage goes up to 98%.

does it hold that usage for the time you have the tabs open or does it go down later?

it hold the usage until i close the tabs
